Dear Mirko,
I had a rough translation (with Google) of yours announcements of the "revival" of some out-of-production B&W papers and films. :D
Since my knowledge of German language is less than zero, I apologize, are you so gently to sumarize here the state of forthcoming products.
I'm particularly interesting in B&W papers as
Formerly Agfa Portriga Speed
Polywarmtone and graded Fortezo
I should be grateful for your kindess.
Regards from Verona
Daniele

Dear Daniele,

the products currently in project status are papers identical to Agfa MCC/MCP and for next year films identical to Agfa APX films.
The papers are already up for the second stage of testing which will take place in July.
Interested photographers can apply for 5 sheets of free samples if they are willing to provide feedback in return. Aplications shall be mailed to mccproject(at)fotoimpex.de

As far as other former Agfa papers are concerned it depends on the cost of adapting the formulations to our machinery. If the market shows enough interest we might start a research project and depending on the outcome of the first precipitations we will decide if it is worthwile to continue or not.
This all depends on the markes situation as a whole as well.
We are focusing on small scale niche production to secure the existence if high quality monochrom products for the future. We cannot compete in our micro factory with Kodaj, Fuji, Ilford, Kentmere or Foma in most cases.
Thus we will only make such products which these companies are not making (anymore) or where we can be competitive due to other reasons.

Forte products will not be remade by us but there are other companies involved in this venture and when they are available again we will certainly distribute theses new Forte papers as well.
I don´t think though that graded papers will be remade.

If any questions remain unanswered pleae feel free to ask.

Best regards,

Mirko

Thank Mirko for the chance you give us.
I had provide to send an email to MCCproject.
My opinion is that niche market for B&W products will be the future for fine-art or artist-photographers and curious images makers since this "method" will be one of the expressive possibility in contemporary photography and no more an established way to make commercial photos.
The discussion could be more long.......but I'm happy if some old/new, realiable and easy to find B&W products will be on the market.
Best regards
Daniele
